30 Days of Writing

Hey everyone! I haven’t written in awhile and I know that most of you have no idea what has been going on, but I will fill you in. I’m a horrible “blogger”, I know (that’s why I don’t call myself one). ANYWHO, I have decided to do a little bit of an experiment here on The Culture Addict. I am going to try to post once a day for 30 days to see what happens. Now, fair warning, they might not all be great content, relevant, or even have a point (although I will try to avoid that), but I need to practice doing this habitually in order for TCA to get rolling again. I know this probably isn’t great for the professional potential my blog could have, but I really do this for myself and my readers for now. Plus, there’s always the option to delete any crap later. If there is anything you would like me to write about, I would really love to hear it. That would give me great direction on where to get started and at the same time answering any questions you may have. Ask away!

To fill you in on the past 5 months (oops), I have been finishing my last year as a preschool English teacher, working on gaining more clients for my freelance business for copywriting, and overall just trying to experience more of Florence. Recently, my Italian boyfriend and I broke up, so I’m going through a lot of emotions, which I won’t air out here, but it did help give me a different perspective and a fresh look on my life here in Italy. I am going to try to use that as some motivation to make changes, do better, and really focus on myself and my future. I have so much that I want to accomplish, so this is me taking the first step, with this [pointless] blog post. You’re welcome.

Leave a comment telling me about what questions you have about my life here in beautiful Tuscany, or anything you’re curious about. I am happy to answer! In the meantime, I thank you in advance for reading and being patient while I carry out this experiment. Who knows, maybe I will actually start having great post ideas once I make this a habit again.

Wish me luck!
